On January 16, Shenzhen Gongda Laser Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Gongda Laser") and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen Advanced Institute") established the Joint Laboratory for Intelligent Manufacturing of Perovskite Photovoltaic (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Laboratory"). Academician Cheng first extended a warm welcome to Dr. Zhang Fan and his party. He emphasized that the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology Carbon Neutrality was established to meet the national strategic goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", and is committed to carbon neutrality technology innovation and leading the development of the carbon neutrality industry. After two years of hard work, the layout of multiple directions to solve the development bottlenecks in the new energy industry and cooperate with enterprises in the industrial chain for research and development can accelerate the transformation of scientific research results.

Dr. Zhang Fan said that he was very pleased that Gongda Laser could establish a cooperative relationship with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology through the "Joint Laboratory" to carry out comprehensive and close cooperation in technology development, process optimization, and equipment processing. Gongda Laser is a dynamic and creative high-tech intelligent manufacturing enterprise with a research and development team of several postdoctoral and doctoral students and an operation and management team with many years of experience in the laser industry. It can provide local and international laser equipment manufacturers with superior performance laser solutions. It is believed that by giving full play to the respective advantages of both parties, the path of laser-assisted perovskite photovoltaic module manufacturing can be optimized.

As the head of the joint laboratory, Bai Yang reported in detail the current work progress and subsequent research plans of the joint laboratory. It is reported that the joint laboratory, as a technical development platform for both parties in "perovskite photovoltaic manufacturing", will mainly focus on the application and development of low-cost and high-precision laser equipment in the manufacturing of perovskite photovoltaic modules. The expected results of the first phase of the project will include the development of large-area perovskite film preparation technology by scraping, the optimization of film crystallization growth dynamics regulation, and the development of laser processing technology for perovskite modules.

Under the guidance of the national "dual carbon" strategic goal, the two parties of the joint laboratory will make full use of the talent resources and advanced scientific and technological achievements of scientific research institutions, cooperate with the integrated manufacturing advantages of enterprises, carry out cutting-edge technology research in the field of new energy and close cooperation with the industry, and jointly promote the transformation and implementation of scientific research results.
